There are many genealogy websites for research some of which are free to use. Today I will be listing five of them and giving you a brief description of them.

This site gives links to access the census records not just for the United States but for several other countries as well such as Canada, Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales

Is also free to use and also has other countries you can search from Africa, Australia to Sweden including the United States. It also gives information on that can help you research them.

www.usgenweb.org

This is an internet site that will list all of the states from which you can choose from to do research in for example Pennsylvania. Then you can pick a county for example Mercer. From here you can search by name or chose one of the many data bases they have to search for your ancestor.

www.findagrave.com

This is a great website to search for your ancestors. It give you the option to search by name or by cemetery as well as other information that you may find helpful.

https://familysearch.org

This website is similar to ancestry.com but is free to use and always a good choice to search.
