Catherine (Cathy) Coulter is a genealogist as well as an author. She has been doing genealogy since 1996 and is a member and volunteer of the Grove City Area Historical Society. She has published a series of Family Tree Research Workbooks to help others in their research and has given Genealogy presentations. She is currently working on a history book about the National Guard out of Grove City Pennsylvania that will be out soon.

 

The children’s stories Cathy has written were inspired by the children in her life and the love of creating the stories for her children. She likes to encourage children to express themselves creatively through drawing, and creating their own stories and poems. She has published two of her seven children’s stories that she has written. The other five will be published as the illustrations for them are ready.

 

She enjoys helping others with their family tree research as well as doing her own. Researching is one of her favorite pastimes as is reading and spending time with her family on their family farm.  Cathy’s education is in Special Education and Sociology from Slippery Rock University.
