Genealogy is Family Fun

Genealogy (Family Tree) is a wonderful activity for the whole family. It makes hisotry come alive for our children and inspires them to take an active interest in their history classes. They learn about thier family histsory and what life was like for their ancestors, and how they lived. It also can show them how they are a part of something biger and makes conections to relitives.

Doing genealogy research together is not just sitting about around a computer or a table. It can be an adventure, a treasure hunt or a vacation even. Searching for clues, historical societies and museums.

Travleing to places where your ancestors lived whether it is in the next county, or acrosss the ocean in a diffrent country. It could lead you even to visiting national parks, and historical land marks.
